About LaserCO DT SA |
Laser Coating Diamond Technology (LASERCO DT) aims at protecting your wearing parts by means of a ??laser cladding??.
The composition of the cladding is adapted to the needs of your wearing parts, whether they have to resist abrasion, erosion, corrosion, impacts or any other type of aggression. For the most severe wear conditions, our claddings offer unequalled wear resistance thanks to the possibility of combining metal powder with diamonds.
Although a metallic bond is achieved between cladding and substrate, there is almost no dilution of the cladding material by the substrate. The cladding has zero porosity.
Thanks to the reduced heat input during cladding, the mechanical properties of the substrate are maintained as well as its dimensional integrity. This makes it possible, for instance, to put a stainless steel cladding on a nodular iron substrate without generating cracks in the substrate. There is no need to preheat the substrate either.
Cladding thicknesses of 0.5 mm to 20 mm and more are possible and can be applied with great precision. The cladding is applied using CNC after digitalisation of the wearing part starting from a technical drawing or from the part itself.
The laser also allows to precisely applying a localised surface heat treatment, up to 2 mm depth, without distortion of the part.
Parts of up to 4.5 m length, 1 m diameter and up to 2 tons can be clad or heat treated. We will look after the manufacturing of a new part, or de-scale the old surface, and finish off the machine work once the cladding has been applied.
LASERCO DT was co-founded by ABRACO, a company specialized in manufacturing diamond tools - electroplated - for hard abrasive material, e.g. for sawing, surfacing, drilling, milling?K.
From alumina based to silicate based refractory, from carbon fibre to hard reinforced resin, from natural stone to ceramics, through wet or dry machining, ABRACO will customize your diamond tools to achieve a better production output.
ABRACO designs and manufactures diamond tools following your specifications, based on your material composition AND your machining process. ABRACO proposes also to recondition any type of electroplated tools, generating substantial cost saving.
Using its 15 years of expertise in natural stone machining, ABRACO, has successfully adapted its production and services to specific machining process, thanks to its skilled personnel and a network of dedicated suppliers.
This flexibility enables ABRACO to produce, upon customer order, in the shortest delivery time and at competitive prices, diamond tools of high quality and outstanding performance.
In 2009, LASERCO DT, ABRACO and DIAROTECH have launched DIAM-NET in Europe, with a peer-to-peer technological approach. DIAM-NET is the main customer commercial interface to access the network of companies that will sustain and build a technological solution to your industrial challenge.
